Ayurvedic medicine, also called Ayurveda, originated in India several thousand years ago. The term “Ayurveda” combines the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Thus, Ayurveda means “the science of life.”
Ayurvedic medicine aims to integrate and balance the body, mind, and spirit; thus, some view it as “holistic.” This balance is believed to lead to happiness and health, and to help prevent illness. Ayurvedic medicine also treats specific physical and mental health problems. A chief aim of Ayurvedic practices is to cleanse the body of substances that can cause disease, thus helping to reestablish harmony and balance.
MY FIRST AYURVEDIC CONSULTATION WITH SARAH TOMLINSON
On Thursday, I had my first Ayurvedic consultation with Sarah Tomlinson. Sarah is a extraordinary person: kind, sweet, extremely intuitive and smart, smiling and generous. She did an excellent job for which I am immensely grateful. Ayurvedic consultations have nothing to do with Tarot, etc. They are garnered in ancient wisdom and focus on you, on your planets and clarify aspects of your personality, your career, relationships, marriage, health. It´s a way to know yourself better and, thus, behave and act consequently, know your true spiritual path, mission in life, grow stronger and wiser. Sarah provides us with spiritual, emotional tools, dietary guidelines, reducing-stress techniques…
I was impressed at the certitude and accuracy of Sarah´s assessment. Much of what she said, I had felt intuitively but I think it´s of great help that someone tells you with such amazing enlightenment, precision and inspiration.
Thank you, Sarah, for all your love and wisdom!
